Roll Forming Machines LLC was contacted by a customer based in California who manufactures patios and pergolas and wanted us to make them a machine to produce 2x2 aluminum post. They sent over the profile they desired, and once they had approved the details, we began the manufacturing. We had the machine completed in our factory in Florida and sent to California within only 3 months.
When the machine was made and delivered, our team of Roll Forming Engineers, each with many years of experience in setting up and running Roll Forming equipment, went to their factory to install and set up the machine.
The machine was used in tandem with a 3000il decoiler.
The 2x2 machine footprint was 33ft by 4ft and weighed 6 tons, the forming speed was between 70ft and 80ft per minute, and featured 20 stations. It featured the cutting type of flying saw, and for safety, it includes e-stop and safety covers.
The machine's main power is 240v - 3ph - 60Hz with an 8Hp motor and its chain drive, the control panel was Delta.
